What's
a hypersite? That's a good question, because I
don't think one existed until now. A hypersite
is when all the owners of a given domain extension
band together to interlink and share graphics
on a particular topic of limited size or scope.
This means that they also share customers and
traffic.
In
our case, we hold all the .US urls for the Hawaiian
islands between us.
Having
a hypersite is like an oligopoly, but without
the incentive to cheat. We know that we can attract
larger advertisers, and serve more clients together
than we can individually.
If
you have a .US Hawaii site, you are welcome to
apply. You will be linked to a particular island
that you are on or service, and you must provide
a link back to the island site. You must also
have a .US extension, no exceptions.
